SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA University Career Center is excited to welcome Brittany Salinas to UTSA. In her role as a Senior Career Consultant, she will provide career development assistance to UTSA students, alumni, and collaborate with campus partners.
“We are excited to welcome Brittany to the Career Consultant team, Career Engaged Learning, and the UTSA family. Her knowledge and experience will benefit our students and alumni and we know she will have a positive impact on the work we do,” says Dionne Davila.
“Brittany has made a great addition to the University Career Center. We look forward to celebrating her impact on the campus community,” says Adrian Ramirez.
Brittany has over 8 years of experience working in higher education in either an Academic or Career advisory role. In her last appointment as Certified Career Experience Navigator at Palo Alto College-Alamo college district, she took the lead in the delivery of Experiential Learning special projects. She has extensive knowledge of graduate/undergraduate matriculation, graduation processes, policies, procedures, and exception processing. As a first-generation student, she has gained invaluable experience working with undergraduate and graduate students within diverse populations. Brittany obtained her Bachelor’s in Health Science and Master’s in Public Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
“I’m excited to be a part of such a dynamic team of career development professionals. I believe my experience in higher education has uniquely prepared me for this new role with UTSA. I’ve had the responsibility and honor of serving students in several capacities helping them to discover, pursue, and achieve their unique career and academic goals and I’m eager to provide that same type of transformational experience to the Roadrunner family,” says Brittany.
