SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA University Career Center is excited to welcome Shruti Anand to the University Career Center team. In this new and elevated role, Anand will serve as the Marketing Coordinator and will be overseeing all of the communication going out to students, staff, and employers.
“With a new vision for our University Career Center now in place, we need a voice that will communicate our transformation to our colleagues, students, alumni, employers, and key stakeholders. Shruti will elevate our profile through an enhanced marketing and communications strategy,” says Executive Director, Mario Vela.
“We are thrilled that Shruti has joined our team and support her work to promote our initiatives to the UTSA community” says Director of Career Development and College Relations, Adrian Ramirez.
“We have a lot of new employer programming in progess- Shruti couldn’t have arrived at a better time! I’m Excited to have her marketing expertise amplify what’s happening here in the University Career Center, to the UTSA community at large, and our employer partners,” Says Director of Employer Engagement, Michelle Schenk.
Anand comes to UTSA with over 7 years of Marketing and Sales experience. Anand received her Bachelors of Commerce at the University of Mumbai, her M.B.A. in Marketing & International Business at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and her MS in Marketing at Texas A&M University. Prior to UTSA, Anand was a Graduate Assistant at Texas A&M University – Mays Business School and a Marketing Intern at Texas A&M University – School of Public Health.
“I am looking forward to working with the team to promote the myriad of new initiatives started by our Career Center,” Shruti said. “We have a lot in store for students, alumni, and employers and I am excited to let them know!”
