About Us:
We are the Volunteer Organization Involving Community, Education, and Service (VOICES), a UTSA-sponsored organization dedicated to connecting students with both local and campus communities.
Location:
VOICES is located in the HEB Student Union along the SU Paseo.
For Spring 2021, email utsavoices@gmail.com before visiting our office.
Meetings:
VOICES hosts weekly meetings, which are held on Wednesdays at 5:30pm during both the Fall and Spring semesters.
Service Projects:
VOICES hosts a variety of service projects every week during the fall and spring semester. Upcoming projects will announced at our weekly meetings. We look forward to serving the community with you!
Incentives:
Because VOICES is a student-sponsored organization (SSO) at UTSA, there are no membership fees required for involvement with VOICES. We implement a point-based system in which you can earn different incentives after reaching any of the following benchmarks:
25 points: Students are inducted as members of VOICES and earn a VOICES shirt that can be worn to future meetings and service projects.
50 points: Members earn a Pin of Service, which recognizes members as stewards of service in the San Antonio community.
75 points: Members earn a personalized VOICES hoodie that can be worn year-round.
125 points: Members earn a graduation stole that can be worn during commencement as indication of high achievement and dedication of service in the San Antonio community.*
*Stoles are distributed to students during their graduating semester.
