In less than two weeks, we will be hosting the Spring 2017 STEM Career Fair and All Majors and Internship Career Fair. If you are a junior or senior, this is a wonderful way to start making connections with employers. All employers who are registered to attend both of the fairs have full-time employment opportunities they are looking to fill! You don’t want to let this great opportunity pass you by! Here are some of the companies attending the fairs:
The STEM Career Fair will be February 7 from 8:30 am – 11:30 am at the Convocation Center
The All Majors and Internship Career Fair will be February 7 from 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm at the Convocation Center
Students should enter the Convocation Center through the Paseo side lobby!
Make sure to RSVP to attend ahead of time! Students who pre-register will get to enter the fair 15 minutes before everyone else and have their own line to check in at.
One of the BEST things you can do to make a great first impression when meeting employers at the fair is to make sure you are prepared and look professional! Here are some ways to ensure you are prepared:
- Stop by the Career Center to have your resume reviewed. Walk-In hours are Monday-Friday from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
- Attend one of our Career Fair Prep Week Workshops! Located under Events on Handshake.
- Check out a suit from our Career Closet so you look professional on the day of the event.
- Download the Career Fair App – UTSA Career Fair Plus. You can see all of the companies attending, narrow down by your major, see what positions the companies are hiring for, and see the layout of the career fair!
