Career Labs (Hands-On Workshops)

Interactive, hands-on sessions where you can bring your laptop, work on career-related tasks in real time, and collaborate with peers and experts in a dynamic, supportive space.

Drop-Ins (Quick 15-Min Chats):

Need fast advice or a second pair of eyes on your resume? Stop by our drop-ins for a 15-minute chat with a Career Ambassador or Consultant—no appointment needed! Our Drop-ins are perfect for:

  • Resume and cover letter reviews
  • Job or internship search strategies
  • Interview preparation and tips
  • Quick career questions or next steps

Fall Schedule: 

  • Wednesdays 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
  • Thursdays 1–3 p.m.

In-person (University Career Center SU 2.02.04) & virtual (Zoom) options available.

Career Services Appointments (In-Depth Career Support):

If you are ready to dive deeper, schedule a 1:1 appointment with one of our Career Center Consultants where you can receive help for:

  • Career Exploration & Planning
  • Resume, CV, & Cover Letter Reviews (required to provide a draft resume + job description)
  • Interview Tips & Practice

How to Schedule an Appointment:

  1. Visit https://utsa.joinhandshake.com
  2. Click the UTSA sign-on banner to sign in with your abc123
  3. Once you complete your profile, click on “Career Center” from the menu
  4. Click on “Appointments” from the center menu options
  5. Follow the prompts to request a day and time for your appointment
