Drina is an undergraduate marketing student at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). She is an active member of her university’s Career Center Student Advisory Board, Business Honors Program, and Honors College. For her outstanding academic commitment, she received the President’s List award and UTSA Alvarez College of Business Advisory Council Endowed Scholarship. Outside of her UTSA community, Drina is completing her Technical Design internship at SWBC under its Training and Employee Development Department.

Leadership is a valued aspect of Drina’s life, and she previously served as a Peer Mentor for UTSA’s First-Year Experience Program. While serving as a Peer Mentor, she helped more than 80 first-year students transition into the college community through social and academic support. As a Senior Peer Mentor under the FYE Program, she facilitated meaningful relationships between a network of 90 peer mentors and 4,000 mentees. Within her university’s American Marketing Association Student Chapter, Drina held the position of Membership Manager and helped create meaningful experiences and connections between UTSA Alvarez College of Business students.

While actively completing her Technical Design internship for SWBC’s award-winning Training and Employee Development Team, Drina produces content for company employees and external clients. She is also gaining experience in assembling creative templates through Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator. She is highly detail-oriented and utilizes that skill for the weekly reviewing and proofreading of professional content before final publishing.

Having completed professional experience and certifications related to her field of study, Drina is excited to enter the workforce full-time after graduating this December. As a future marketer, she looks forward to building upon her skills and hopes to continue designing meaningful content throughout her career. She enjoys working with Adobe Creative Software and bringing creative visions to life through innovative thinking and team collaboration.
