This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a dental clinic by taking vitals, shadowing dentists, assisting with basic dental procedures, familiarizing yourself with dental instruments and learning proper sterilization techniques!
Volunteers Around the World (VAW) is a humanitarian organization devoted to improving the quality of life for underserved communities throughout the world. The VAW UTSA Chapter offers several Dental Outreach trips which provide students and/or volunteers opportunities to work alongside dental professionals in full-service dental clinics.
