- UTeachSA is a collaborative effort between the College of Sciences (COS) and the College of Education and Human Development (COEHD) at UTSA. This innovative program is designed for undergraduate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) majors interested in exploring a career in education. The UTeachSA program utilizes mathematics, science, and education faculty at UTSA and teaching experts in local schools.
- UTeachSA students take an enriched instructional curriculum to earn their math or science degree along with teaching credentials to acquire a deep understanding of their fields of study and develop the knowledge and skills needed for teaching.
- The student organization of UTeachSA is established to create a connection between UTSA students and act as an outreach for members.
