Abreetta Bonner

Abreetta Bonner is the Career Counselor for University College . Over the past 6 years, Abreetta has served in several different capacities within Career Services including employer relations, program management, & career counseling in higher education. Abreetta currently serves students and alumni by providing a diverse array of services such as: career assessments, job & internship search strategies, resume assistance, mock interviews, and special topic workshops related to career development.

She has her Master’s Degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education and her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies, both from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. She is currently earning her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership here at UTSA.

She is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE), and locally, San Antonio Colleges and Universities Career Center Association (SACUCCA).

Abreetta is passionate about serving students and proud to serve the growing UTSA community and as always, Go Runners!
