Chianna Knox, Employer Engagement Manager
SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA University Career Center is excited to welcome Chianna Knox to UTSA. In her role as Employer Engagement Manager, she will bridge student organizations and employers together, track sponsorships and operations of the Employer Engagement Team, and manage partnerships developed from the UCC Student Advisory Board.
“We were thrilled to welcome Chianna to our Employer Engagement team. Her background in both higher education and corporate university recruiting is a perfect blend for this newly created role,” says Michelle Schenk, Director of Employer Engagement.
Prior to joining the Employer Engagement Team at UTSA, Chianna worked in the corporate and the non-profit sector. She has a variety of different experiences within higher education, at both the community college and 4-year institution levels, including Admissions, Student Ambassador Programs, Journalism, and New Student Orientation. Chianna brings a variety of different perspectives as a first-generation college student and a military spouse to the UCC.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Employer Engagement Team. I truly believe in the students at UTSA. As a first-generation student, I understand how important it is to be able to connect with companies and build connections beyond graduation. I am looking forward to working with student organizations, student groups, and employers to build their partnerships throughout campus for years to come,” says Chianna.
