Courtney Pletcher, Career Consultant

SAN ANTONIO- The UTSA Career Center is excited to welcome Courtney Pletcher to the team. In her new role as a Career Consultant, she will provide career development assistance to students, alumni, and collaborate with campus partners.

I couldn’t be more excited to have Courtney as part of the team. I have had the privilege of working with her when she was a career consultant graduate intern in our office, and I am blown away by her knowledge and abilities in career counseling and beyond. She always puts students’ needs first and UTSA students and alumni are lucky to have her support. I can’t wait to see all the great contributions she will continue to make in the field and impact the lives of Roadrunners and their futures,” says Assistant Director of Career Development, Sara Goede.

Before this appointment, Courtney worked with the UTSA University Career Center as a Career Consultant Graduate Intern in Fall 2021. In this role, she conducted individual counseling sessions virtually and in-person for degree and career exploration, resume writing, cover letter guidance, more. Prior to that, Courtney worked as a Clinical Mental health counseling intern at UTSA Sarabia Family Counseling Center where she provided telehealth counseling services in individual and group settings. She will be completing a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from UTSA in Summer ‘22 and has received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UTSA in ‘19.

I’m honored to be a part of the amazing Career Consultant team at the University Career Center. My time at the UCC as a Graduate Intern has been immensely rewarding, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving UTSA’s diverse community,” says Courtney Pletcher.
