The University Career Center appoints a new Assistant Director of Career Development

SAN ANTONIO-The UTSA University Career Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Sara Goede from Senior Career Consultant to Assistant Director of Career Development. Goede gets this elevated position after serving as a Senior Career Consultant for 5 years.    

“Sara brings invaluable leadership and career expertise to her new role. The University Career Center looks forward to celebrating her continued success,” says Director of Career Development and College Relations, Adrian Ramirez.    

Goede is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 9 years of experience providing career counseling in individual and group settings on college campuses ranging from 12,000 to 35,000 student enrollment. She has her Master’s degree in Counseling, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Sara also oversees and supervises the graduate career consultant internship program at the University Career Center.    

“I’m excited and honored to be in this new role and part of this team. I have been part of the UTSA Career Center since 2017 and I’m passionate about helping students and alumni in all stages of their career development. With the quality Career Center team, Career Engaged Learning, and the leadership team, I am excited to be part of the transformational force in creating a career engaged culture to support and empower Roadrunner students and alumni in their career readiness to transcend into creating BOLD futures,” says Sara.
