SAN ANTONIO- The Office of Career Engaged Learning is excited to welcome back Bryan Heard to UTSA. In this new role, Bryan will provide leadership and guidance to Career Engaged Learning staff on technology platforms, including vetting, implementation, evaluation, training.

“As CEL grew and evolved it was clear we needed a Director of Operations with a certain skillset that included platform implementation and maintenance, process and procedure development, and a strong track record in data collection and data-based decision making. With Bryan’s experience as a Registrar, he was a perfect fit as all these skills are integral in the daily operations of a Registrar’s office,” says Associate Vice Provost for Career-Engaged Learning, Ginnifer Cié Gee.

Heard comes to UTSA with over 10 years of Systems Administration and Project Management experience, including 5 years at UTSA as a Certification Specialist I, Athletic Certification Specialist and Assistant Registrar. Bryan received his Bachelors of Computer Science at Trinity University and Masters in Higher Education at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Prior to UTSA, Heard was the University Registrar at University of Houston Clear Lake.

“I am excited to return to UTSA! As a graduate of UTSA, I’m eager to serve the university community that provided me exceptional mentorship, education, and support,” Bryan said.
