SAN ANTONIO – The University Career Center is excited to welcome Adrian Ramirez to the University Career Center team. In this newly elevated role, Ramirez will be responsible for developing a comprehensive career development program for the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) campus, training students on how to be successful in career-related activities, collaborating with academic partners to develop career education in the classroom, and leading the career counseling team.
“This is an important period of transformation for the University Career Center and Adrian brings a vision that is dedicated to student and alumni career engaged learning. I’m thrilled to welcome him to UTSA.” says Executive Director, Mario Vela.
Ramirez comes to UTSA with over 8 years of higher education experience. Prior to UTSA, Ramirez held the position of Associate Director of Career and Professional Development at St. Edward’s University in Austin. Before his work at St. Edward’s University, Ramirez served as a Senior Career Services Advisor at The University of Dallas. Ramirez is a double alumnus of The University of Dallas earning both his Master of Business Administration and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and History from the institution.
