After attending a few days of #SAStartupWeek, I caught the cool, hip, entrepreneurship and tech bug (which coders will help me figure out and get rid of, ha ha). In all seriousness though, Tech Bloc SA is growing into a thriving, connective, innovative and fresh place for our students in cyber, info systems, computer science, entrepreneurs, engineers and so much more. If you want to catch the excitement with me, check out this video which captivates where Tech Bloc is (just 0.6 miles from our UTSA Downtown Campus) and the work they are doing in this downtown space. Plans are in the works to add so much more, use the existing infrastructure downtown to add more businesses, retail and of course, jobs.

Also, even though #SASW is over, you can still read over the week of presenters, topics and maybe be inspired to reach out to someone in an area of interest to you. Check out the info here, https://sanantonio.startupweek.co/.
This great write up from the Rivard Report about Provost Espy on DT SA projections is also great; she definitely held her own – What’s Next for Downtown San Antonio
