APPLY TODAY!! Application Deadline: November 30, 2018

WHO WE ARE

College to Congress is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization that creates pathways for students
to intern in Congress who otherwise could not
afford to do so. Through our comprehensive
program, we aim to disrupt the traditional
pipeline of wealthy and connected people filling positions of power in the
United States Congress. By empowering the next generation of
passionate and diverse young leaders to kick-start their careers in public
service, we get one step closer to creating a Congress that is truly
reflective of the beautiful diversity in America.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

APPLICANTS MUST:
• Be a current junior or senior in college (at the
time of applying).
• Commit to living in Washington, DC for 9
weeks from May 29, 2019 – Aug 3, 2019.
• Be a Pell Grant recipient, have DACA status, or
receive financial aid as a student with
disabilities.

WHAT DOES A C2C INTERN DO?

Interns will work in an office on Capitol Hill.
This could be in the House of Representatives
or the Senate. Typical duties include
answering constituent calls, writing letters to
constituent questions, attending hearing or
briefings, giving tours of the Capitol building,
and other tasks needed in a congressional
office. The hustle and bustle of the Hill is
unlike anywhere else in the world and it’s not
unlikely that you’ll bump into a well-known
member of Congress on your way into work.
