Freshman Experience (Pre-Internship/Externship Site Visit)
Big opportunity in the Big Apple

Our Freshman Experience offers first-year university students, who self-identify as Black, Hispanic, or Native American, a valuable introduction into the financial services industry. This program will help you discover your individual potential and prepare you for opportunities as you consider your future. Over the course of two days, you’ll meet with senior leaders, build your network, develop leadership skills and explore the financial services industry. You’ll also participate in workshops and training, and have the support of our leaders every step of the way.

Timing: Two-day sessions hosted at our global headquarters in New York City.
Option 1: April 20 – April 21 2017
Option 2: April 27 – April 28 2017
Travel and accommodations are paid by JPMorgan Chase
Sessions will be assigned based on availability and open slots

Sophomore Development Fellowship
Our investment in your development

Our Sophomore Development Fellowship offers first-year university students, who self-identify as Black, Hispanic, or Native American, a path to a successful career in financial services. This three-month program will expand your knowledge of financial services, sharpen your technical and professional skill sets, and accelerate your career. As a Fellow, you will experience JPMorgan Chase and learn about our businesses by attending workshops in both our Chicago and New York offices. Through a series of in-person and virtual sessions, you will build your professional skills, develop your financial knowledge and enhance your career readiness.

Timing: June 2017 – August 2017
Students accepted as a Sophomore Fellow will be expected to complete all program components from the live events in Chicago and New York, as well as the virtual projects and assignments, with travel accommodations paid by JPMorgan Chase.

Qualifications and Next Steps
These programs are open to students who have a cumulative 3.2 GPA or above, who self-identify as Black, Hispanic or Native American, and expect to graduate in 2020 for the Freshman Experience or 2019 for the Sophomore Development Fellowship. Candidates from all majors who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply today.
