Calling all female Engineering students: SWE wants you!

While there has been an increase in women working in industries historically dominated by men (i.e. law, business, medicine, etc.), there has been no increase in women in Engineering since the early 2000s. Want to help change that statistic? Consider joining UTSA’s Society of Women Engineers (SWE) chapter!

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 22 @ 5:30 PM in UC 2.01.40, with a subsequent April meeting on Wednesday, April 12 (same time/location).

Some of the many benefits to joining SWE include volunteerism, exclusive scholarships, leadership positions, mentoring high school students, and participating in professional luncheons with female engineers working in the industry today. For questions, please contact Kimberly Rios, Vice President of SWE at UTSA.
