Workforce Recruitment Program – Opportunities for College Students with a verified disability….

Are you a college student with a verified disability? Do you have an interest in working for the Federal Government?

If so, we encourage you to further explore the Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP). The WRP is a recruitment and referral program that connects federal and private sector employers nationwide with highly motivated college students and recent graduates with disabilities who are eager to prove their abilities in the workplace through summer or permanent jobs.

Annually, trained WRP recruiters from federal agencies conduct personal interviews with interested candidates on college and university campuses across the country, AND THEY ARE COMING TO UTSA! Candidates represent all majors, and range from college freshmen to graduate students and law students. Information from these candidate interviews is compiled in a searchable database that is available through this website to federal Human Resources Specialists, Equal Employment Opportunity Specialists, and other hiring officials in federal agencies.

To participate, Click on the “Student Registration” tab on the wrp.gov homepage, and it will walk you through the process. Registration for WRP starts in August 2017!

Please let us know if you have any questions or if you encounter any difficulty registering for the program and completing the registration steps.
