Summertime Means Volunteer Time!

If you are not already taking classes or participating in an internship this summer, now would be the perfect time to gain additional experience through volunteerism. Employers highly favor seeing that a potential candidate has been involved in their community, especially if the employer has a reputation for giving back to the community. If you are unsure how to get started or what types of volunteer activities are available, you can visit and click on “Get Involved.” There you will be instructed how to locate volunteer opportunities. Additionally, you can visit, click on “Get Involved” and then click on “Volunteer.” Lastly, don’t forget to add your volunteer work to your resume!
